I heard a leadership principle that stuck with me and that is to lead well I must stay fit.  Why?  If I am not around because of my health, I am not leading.  I am aware that there are factors that can be completely out of my control, but aside from that, I am responsible for my mind and body.  Also, and I know this is true for me, running/activity is essential for my own stress balance.  Plus, I like getting outside!

One of my friends told me about an awesome iPhone running app.  I just used it this morning and it is amazing.  It tracks the run by map/GPS, total pace stats and then links the information to mapmyrun.com.   You can find the app at the app store under New Balance, or go to the New Balance total fit site.
